Setup IAC Driver Bus

Introduction

To send MIDI between applications, we must setup an Inter-Application Communication (IAC) Bus. Think of this as a virtual MIDI cable to connect applications.

Setup macOS

Apple's Audio MIDI Setup app allows you to create virtual MIDI ports between applications.

  1. 1

    Open Audio MIDI Setup

Applications > Utilities > Open Audio MIDI Setup.
